The Exterior
The 1898 begins with exterior spaces that include wrap around porches and space for tented areas in the green areas. There is an exterior bar with lovely seating areas for lingering over cocktails, stories and laughter.
The Welcome In
Entering The 1898, guests are welcomed into the Reception Hall, where the grandeur of Victorian architecture is on full display. From the fourteen inch layered crown moldings to the 129 year old original wood floors, the entryway is a visual hug from bygone years. Beyond her beautiful hello, the functionality of the space is secretly practical. From hosting cakes to boasting bountiful layered culinary Grazes where guests can enjoy delicious food, to simply hugging the guests, the Reception Hall is just the first step into this lovely lady.
The Grand Dining Room
Seating 18 guests, the Grand Dining Room showcases antique dining furnishings, Spode China and a crystal chandelier.
The Salon
Directly across from the Grand Dining Room is the lovely Salon. Seating up to 20 guests The Salon overlooks both the front veranda and the large side porch.
The Drawing Room
The wide screen TV, leather seating group, and two bars offering stools for 6 guests each complete this fabulously updated room. With an entrance and exit door to a generous side deck, the Drawing Room is reminiscent of SpeakEasy bars and cigar bars. With original heart of pine walls and floors this room wraps you in the warmth of wood and guarantees laughter and memorable moments.
The Parlor
A most intimate dining room, The Parlor seats 16 guests. Perfect for smaller parties, parties can reserve the entire room for their own event, or to attend an 1898 hosted event.
